Jeffry H Morrison, DVM: Veterinarian
I graduated from vet school from Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana) in 1972. At the time of my graduation I was the youngest veterinarian in the country. I have been practicing veterinary medicine for 41 years and still love every aspect of it. I lived on the Big Island for 3 years and had an opportunity to buy a clinic in Maui 2 ½ years ago and have been here ever since. I am an avid scuba diver, enjoy other water sports and just love being outdoors.
Tana R. Weeks, DVM: Veterinarian
I graduated from vet school from The Ohio State University in 2001 and practiced at Southwoods Animal Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina for the first 8 years of my career. After I married my husband, Brad Weeks, I moved to Maui to practice in 2009. We moved here with my 3 older animals (our 2 lab mixes and our 3-legged cat named Lu) whom have all sadly passed away now, but we have temporarily filled that empty space with the birth of our son Tucker. He keeps us both VERY busy! We can’t wait to add another rescue to our family once Tucker has passed his “tail pulling” stage! We love to go to the beach, paddle board and snorkel in our free time.
Joyce Skinner, CVT: Veterinary Technician
I have practiced as a veterinary technician for over 25 years, and became certified in 2002. I moved to Maui in July 2012 with my husband, Tim, and 12 cats, now sadly down to 8. On the mainland I worked in a 24/7 emergency clinic, so working in a smaller practice has been a big change. My areas of interest are anesthesia & critical care. Currently in my free time I volunteer at the Maui Humane Society and I’m an active member of the Kihei Canoe Club. Hopefully at some point I can return to the mainland and continue volunteering with the Humane Society of the United States. Other hobbies that I enjoy doing with my husband are scuba diving, paddle boarding and our daily walks.
Kimberly A. Morrison: Office Manager/Veterinary Technician
I have been working in the veterinary field for 11 years now. I’ve lived in Maui for 2 years and love living here. I have 3 children, 35, 24, and 15 (Chris, Brittany and Lyndsay). I have three grandchildren, 3, 2 and 1 (Xander, Isaiah and Ian). My husband is Dr. Jeffry Morrison and my daughter is Brittany Peterson, one of our techs, so we very much consider this a “family” business. We think of each and every employee as ohana. I enjoy going to the beach and snorkeling in my free time. I am also a certified scuba diver but have not been able to dive since we started the new clinic, but hope to get back in the water soon.
Cheryl Bobb: Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
I have lived in Kihei for more than 4 years. I have 3 children ranging in ages from 14 through 25 years – David, Ashley and Brian. My other children consist of my blue Pit Bull Augie, my Pug mix Otis, and my kitty Chance. I like to sing karaoke, lay in the sun and take my dogs to swim at the beach. I have been a receptionist/vet tech at Wailuku Pet Clinic for 1 year. I have a real passion for animals and being able to help them is very rewarding.
Brittany Niccole Peterson: Veterinary Technician
I moved to Maui 2 years ago, was born and raised in the Mountains of North Carolina. I have 2 boys, Isaiah (3) and Ian (1). They keep me very busy being a single working mom. We enjoy going to the beach on weekends and I love to hike when I get free time away. I had a mini Pomeranian “Lucy” that recently passed away. I can’t wait to get another pet! But LOVE that on a daily basis I get to play/love everyone else’s furry friends!
